Ad Message:	QRO TEC has a reputation for overbuilding their amplifiers and this is no exception. It runs 3.3 kV on a pair of 4CX800A tetrodes and has about 17 dB gain on twenty meters since 20 watts input will provide a solid kilowatt output. Suffice it to say you could easily get illegal with this amplifier and although it would do it, I obviously do not recommend it. The amp comes with a spare pair of tubes that have been recently "gettered" and are 100 %. Current limited LED "festoon" meter illumination lamps are installed which should last "forever". All USA made with a b i g bandswitch, Pi-L output and two Peter Dahl transfomers. The HV XFMR is the biggest I've seen in a HAM HF amp. Lots of safety circuitry for over-load etc. will protect it. I'd really like to keep it but I simply don't have the room. Shipping would be a shock, but I can meet a reasonable distance from the northern Virginia area or, if pre-paid, I can deliver to Dayton or local 'fest's. $2800

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
