Ad Number:1724380
Date Placed:03/31/25
Name:Sean Warner
Phone Number:6126706238
Callsign:K0XQ
Category:RADIOHF
Heading:FS: Yaesu FT-1000D, Yaesu FT-1000 MP MKV
Ad Message:Relocating to LA land (as in the country, not Los Angeles) and I can only take 3 transceivers with me, so I am reluctantly putting these up for sale.
The FT-1000D is the KROB (SK) Special….comes with the original manual and all of his handwritten notes. It is filtered out to the max, and was given a good once over by Gary K0GX a few years ago. Still the best front end I think I have ever used….an absolute brick wall.
The FT-1000 MP Mk V was purchased from the TCFMC Club Station when the Golden Valley PD shut down the club station there. Also filtered out to the max, by K0GX. MARS mod was done by Dan at Radio Works before he retired.
Neither has been used in a couple of years but I plugged them in and fired them up this weekend, they both work with all their respective bells and whistles. Display and lamps all work just fine.
I am asking $1200 for each one. I think that is a fair price for a couple of classics, both contest and DX warriors, but I will entertain any reasonable offer.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
