This was marketed as a NASTAR scanner for auto races, but it is an all around excellent scanner for civil and military aviation and other non-digital VHF-UHF reception. It still rivals the newer Uniden analog models and has 2500 programmable channels, wideband coverage to 1300 MHz (less cellular block) and many programming features. Be advised that this model featured dynamic programming architecture (systems and groups) rather than "banks" and "channels". Radio comes with stock antenna, belt clip, Uniden AC charger, original manual, hand strap and other literature and reviews. No original box. Asking $185, which includes shipping only to the lower 48. Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
