Category:ANNOUNCE
Heading:Looking for/Trade:VHF Repeater Amplifier
Ad Message:Hi everyone,
Bryan, KB9UZO with the Eastern Colorado Repeater Association (ECRA), based in Peyton, Colorado. We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the communications gap across Eastern Colorado. You can learn more about us at: https://www.ecra-coloradohamradio.org/
Recently, our System 1 VHF repeater amplifier (Crescend) was damaged due to a very near lightning strike. While we were fortunate that our UHF system remained unharmed, the VHF amplifier is critical for coverage and needs immediate replacement.
This particular system is a wide coverage system, we're looking for a amplifier that can output at least 130-150+ watts preferably but will not turn down a 100 watt amp either.
We're looking for a VHF repeater amplifier (147 MHz range input/output) — either used or new — and we’re reaching out to the community to see if anyone has one they’re willing to sell/part with at a reduced cost.
Would appreciate it
Bryan, Kb9UZO

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
