Ad Message:	Time to let someone else enjoy the one receiver that was my dream receiver in 1962 as a young General class. This receiver, S/N 6728, is nearly mint outside. The front panel is factory new (thanks W5LUA) and is flawless. It has the ultra-rare Drake Model 2-LF low frequency converter in the accessory socket (no calibrator) which also gives you 160m coverage. Full 10m coverage and one extra crystal in Band C for 15 MHz WWV. New filter caps in the power supply. Case has a few edge scrapes on the front visible in the photo, otherwise perfect. Unfortunately the upper chassis surface is not so pretty, having suffered the common copper discoloration. It comes with complete original manuals including the one for the 2-LF. You won't find many nicer than this. $275 firm + shipping, Paypal preferred. Of course, local pickup is also possible near Sarasota FL. Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
