Ad Number:1735106
Date Placed:07/05/25
Name:Ronald Reiter
Phone Number:E-MAIL ONLY
Callsign:N0KMR
Category:RADIOHF
Heading:Yaesu FT-857 with DSP $500
Ad Message:For sale is my Yaesu FT-857 with DSP. The radio unit is 100% functional but the display unit needs attention with the LCD screen. The old LCD screen started having the dreaded stripes so I brought it in to have a new LCD installed. The repair person installed it but could not get anything on the display. The new LCD screen is still installed in the display unit so maybe you can get it working. Also, the "select" knob is missing as you can see in the picture. The select switch is fully functional so I never thought to get it replaced. Again, the radio unit works fine but the LCD screen on the display unit does not (all buttons and VFO work). I was able to control this radio with my old Ham Radio Deluxe program, but I now have an FT-897 so it's time for this radio to go to a new home. $500 - I'd prefer a local pick-up on this so I can show you that it transmits/receives fine, but I can ship CONUS for $20 if needed. My contact info is good on QRZ! No trades or offers please. 73

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
