Ad Message:	I have for sale a vintage Heathkit Model HD-10 Electronic Keyer with an original Heathkit Assembly Manual. The keyer is in very good cosmetic condition. The previous owner made a nice wiring harness at the rear of the unit for the key line, hand key input, and a short AC line cord. Please note that this keyer is designed for a negative key line (for tube-type rigs), and must be modified to add a positive key line (such as used with modern solid-state rigs). An easy mod to add a positive key line was shown in the July 1978 QST (page 34) and a copy of that page is included in the Assembly Manual. The unit powers up and appears to key the key line output (as checked with a DVM), but the unit has a noticeable tone from the built-in speaker (doesn't appear to be just the normal sidetone output). Therefore, the unit is being sold AS IS and may need to be repaired by the purchaser. Price is therefore low at $35 including shipping (check or Money Order). Thanks for reading my ad! Gary, WB4DNL

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
