Ad Number:1738313
Date Placed:08/03/25
Name:Dale Rogers
Phone Number:E-MAIL ONLY
Callsign:K9ZPY
Category:MISC
Heading:ThankYou for your-"Shipping Wisdom Help"
Ad Message:Thank you to all fellow QTH.com supporters for answering my earlier "Shipping Wisdom Help" inquiry! For those of you who may be interested here is a brief collection of the ideas.
#1 most recommended was PirateShip.com - I ended up using them as who can argue with at least 50% off the UPS rates for UPS ground shipping up to 150 lbs and they will pick up. There are a ton of other reasons but check them out, use them, and you'll know why. They have discounts on USPS as well.
Other recommendations include:
a) Easyship.com - Like Pirateship but includes FedEx and many other companies.
b) Uship.com - They'll ship anything, including your car, house, hamshack, via many shipping carriers
c) Estes Trucking - shipping carrier
d) FedEx Gnd and UPS Gnd - especially if you want them to pack your item
e) DHL
f) sometimes your local store to get their lower business rates.
All for now - but just a big Thank You again to all my fellow hams!
73!

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
