Ad Message:	For Sale, Yaesu FRDX400 receiver, just pulled out of the closet. Receiver has all four filter slots filled and the 6 and 2 meter converters. Receiver is offered AS IS WHERE IS, western burbs of Chicago, pick up only, $125 firm, but I did test it a bit. Calibrator signals indicated as follows: 160 (S9+20), 80 (S9+30) ,40 (S9+15), 20 (S9), 15 (S7, but appears to have aged to 35 khz high) 10 meters and CB (S4 BUT 10C band did not receive) WWV (S7). I don't have an instruction manual so can't test the converters. Modes seemed to function properly, AM/FM/SSB filters responded at the indicated levels, the two CW positions seemed narrow but 10-15 dB lower, I think this is probably normal. With a bit of contact cleaner and an alignment I think this will be a pretty strong radio. Contact me direct at ka9p at aol.com only. Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
