Heading: | Heathkit HR-1681 Receiver, Working |
Ad Message: | Heathkit HR-1680 receiver, working, heard stong signals using my 40 meter dipole, both SSB and CW. Heard FT-8 signals on 20, 15, and 10 meters but not as strong likely due to propagation Front panel is very good. Some scuffs on top cover, no significant scratches. No extra holes or mods. All original knobs and feet. I spritzed the controls with de-oxit to clean up some scratchy noises I made a 40 meter qso this afternoon using this receiver and one of my homebrew. Transmitters. Fun little receiver. Good wiring job, have lots of pictures. The only issue I noticed is that the main tuning dial is slipping a little bit, becomes noticeable if you are tuning from one end of the band to the other. Maybe be an easy fix for you. No book included but assume it’s available on the internet. Due to the dial, priced at $60 plus shipping, PayPal preferred but flexable. 73 Bill W9VC |
