Heading:Amp Supply LK-800A with External supply!
Ad Message:I have an LK-800 Amp with the optional Power pac external power supply. This amp has THREE 3CX800A7 tubes. Factory rating is 3000W with 100W drive on SSB. It does 1500W with just 50 to 60W in.
I went through the amp 2 weeks ago:
new power cord
new power cord Grommet.
Made a new ground cable from power pac to amp
Repaired the Umbilical cable.
Rebuilt the Tuned input board. Some bands have new MIC caps. All bands tuned to 1.0 to 1.1 to 1 input SWR from 10 to 160 meters.
Replaced on weak 800 Tube.
No has three full power 800 tubes and one Tested Spare tube
This amp makes NO noise on Low Fan and very little heat at 1500W. With 100 W drive it does 3000 to 3300W out.
Asking 2800 WITH the Spare tube. Located in PHX AZ.

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
