This microphone has been discontinued and it is very difficult to find an original OEM branded replacement mic. Other replacement mics that are available online are marked made in China; this one is not. I don’t have a radio to test it with but it is very clean and looks unused. There are no marks on the mic itself and the mic cord is pliable with no cracks or splits. Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
