Ad Message:	AL-811H linear Amplifier. I have been the sole owner after that for 15-20 years. The Ameritron factory replaced a capacitor one time, and also replaced the meter lamps with LEDs. A few years after that, a local highly qualified technician repaired a minor problem. It has always been capable of about 800 watts output, but always run at about 500 watts with about 50 watts of drive. The amp now blows both main power fuses when turned on. I suspect a bad tube and a bad resistor. I will sell “as is” for $300 cash. I am 81 years old, and can’t lift it any more. At this price, I feel that there is enough margin for a VERY nice profit, if repaired and resold, or a real bargain if repaired for personal use. I’ll just go barefoot. Local pickup only in Evans, GA.

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
