Ad Message:	I purchased this in the early 80's on closeout at one of the local parts houses. It was put on a shelf and forgotten. Batteries were never installed. I recently discovered it and, after adding new batteries and a new test lead set, I found that it works perfectly. All ranges test as they should, meter movement and controls all are smooth and exhibit no erratic actions. I had to discard the original batteries, and lead-set. They were the original rubber jacketed type and don't hold up well over time. I ordered a new set from Triplett complete with alligator clips. The meter was stored in its original box for almost 50 years in a climate-controlled environment. In short, except for some slight discoloration of the box, it's in like-new condition. Included is all the above, plus the warranty card, other inserts, and the original manual. I have several other photos if you would like to see more. $150.00. Postal M/O only. No Pay-Pal. Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
