Ad Message:	Here's another useful item from a recent ham radio estate clearance effort. I was able to acquire this base from a 20' Rohn 25 tower (there will be a separate listing for the tower). . It is in great shape, no rust or defects. I cleaned it up visually (washed and brushed it), and then added a good coat of Rust-Oleum Cold Galvanizing Compound spray. . It seems that everything with our hobby is ridiculously expensive. DX Engineering carries this base plate for $435.99 as of 12/5/2025. . I'm asking $225 plus shipping for this part and I'm happy to meet within a reasonable distance of Frederick, MD to avoid shipping costs for the buyer. . Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
