Ad Message:	For sale – Hallicrafters SR-400A transceiver/PS-500a supply. Has been reconditioned and works as it should. New capacitors, diode replacements. Many photos and video of it in operation available if you’re interested. Cabinet has been over-sprayed by a previous owner, but it’s not bad. The radio functions like it’s supposed to, but it is a 60 year old piece of gear, so if you buy it, you’re also buying the ongoing maintenance of it. It is sold AS-IS. No returns, no angry social media posts. It works on my bench. Price is $600. I prefer not to ship (for the above reason – when it gets broken during shipment, I WON’T provide a refund.) Willing to meet along I-95, I-85, or I-40 in NC/VA. Shipping will be very expensive, and on the buyer. My local UPS store won’t touch it (I tried).

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
