Ad Message:	Ameritron AL-572 For Sale I have an Ameritron AL-572 amplifier (serial number 11473) for sale. This amplifier has been my backup for the past 10 years or so; it has been used very infrequently. I recently tested it briefly and it was putting out 1000 watts on 20 meter CW with about 70 watts of drive. It is in good physical condition. It is working but due to its age I am selling it “as is”. It is currently wired for 220v AC but can be rewired to 120V as an option. I am hoping for pickup in Southern California, and am offering it for local sale for $1000. I will ship if I have to, at buyer's expense. I will have to take the 4 572b tubes out and pack/ship them separately.

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
