| Ad Message: | National NCX-5 MK II $350 W matching power supply in kinda sorta working The radio receives, and the radio transmits , The transmitter puts out over 100w on 80m down to maybe 60 or so on 10m. It is in need of an alignment as the receiver is sensitive on the CW portion of the bands and the phone portion. In the CW portions, it's actually a pretty hot receiver. RF gain control is scratchy but works . The part I could not get dialed in was the rx/xmt alignment. xmt frequency was always off by maybe 300 hz from receive. This is a known issue with these radios and can most likely be overcome by someone with the proper knowledge. The power supply works as it should. Comes with a Nice Mike and a Manual |
