Date Placed:01/17/26
Name:John
Phone Number:5712967023
Callsign:K3US
Category:TEST
Heading:Classic Tube Tester - Hickok 539C
Ad Message:Here's a working Hickok 539C Tube Tester.
The standard for testing vacuum tubes back in the day.
Original owner was NASA Labs.
I diligently went through tester and replaced all out of range resistors and calibrated it about 10 years ago and used it to test 1000s of tubes.
*
The cosmetics are a bit worn - cover is rough. Tester is working and accurate.
Needs a knob for VR adj (seldom used) and dual banana plug jack for plate current is cracked.
*
Also can include a variac that helps with accuracy and drift especially with power tubes.
*
It's been a great workhorse for me.
*
$750 plus UPS Ground shipping (quite heavy) from GA (31088) or possibly can meet up with you along 95 when I make next trip to Northern VA / MD / DC (22031) passing through SC and NC.

Paypal or Zelle will work.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
