I am the original owner; there have been no modifications or hacks. It has lived its life in my radio room that is pet free and a smoke free environment. The transceiver is complete with all its original accessories, microphone, DC power cord, hardware and mobile mounting bracket. This radio has the detachable head for convenient mounting; has three power output levels on both bands: (50, 25 & 5 watts). For 50 watts power, the user must have a 13.8VDC power supply that is capable of delivering at least 10 amperes of current for full output. Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
