| Heading: | Restored Johnson Navigator |
| Ad Message: | Johnson Navigator $600, carefully restored to all original, except for the upgraded Simpson panel meter to replace the infamously troublesome vane meter. I have the vane meter if you want it. Front panel and knobs in beautiful condition, case shows gentle wear appropriate for 67 year old radio. No touch-ups. A prior owner added differential keying delay access with silver cover to the top of the case. This Navigator has been used for SKN paired with a Davco, 75S1, and Drake 2B. It works beautifully, a dream SKN transmitter, looks lovely next to the Drake 2B, but has now been on the museum shelf for 13 months. It works too well to sit on a shelf. The differential keyed VFO works as advertised, just a bit of vintage sound on 15m and 10m, very low drift after the usual warm up. Offered for local pickup, or I can deliver to the Rickreall flea market February 21. These don't ship well without removing the power transformer. |
