Ad Number:1758785
Date Placed:02/12/26
Name:Rick Campbell
Phone Number:email only
Callsign:KK7B
Category:RADIOHF
Heading:Racal RA6790/gm Premium Receiver
Ad Message:Racal RA6790/gm premium receiver restored to original specs, with full filter complement. $1300. "The one receiver I'll never sell" ...except I have two of them, and recently combined my station and lab. It was restored by the Racal guy about 20 years ago. I put it on the bench this week, replaced the Varta 2V150H Mempac battery assembly with a new one from Germany, replaced a questionable capacitor, and cleaned everything inside and out. BITE runs successfully on power up, no error messages. Measured filter bandwidths: 0.4kHz 1.2kHz 3.2kHz 5.9kHz and 20kHz. These don't show up very often, particularly complete, recently checked, and with all 5 filters. It is a professional receiver, has the best IF filters I've ever encountered, and zero whistles and bells. This one has the upgrade EPROM set and tunes from zero to 30MHz, so it's also a great VLF-LF-MF receiver. Offered for pickup or delivery to the Rickreall flea market February 21. Shipping would be expensive.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
