Nov. 2025) matched quad Penta 572B tubes--far superior to 811s. The 10m mod has been made by the Amplifier Guy while he was in there replacing a faulty Plate Current/HV meter and he tweaked the whole thing—correcting some hurried construction deficiencies like poor solder joints, etc that Ameritron was famous for. Reliable 750 watts PEP on all bands (caution: you can get more, but over-driving it is ill-advised reducing tube life). Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
