Ad Number:1761397
Date Placed:03/08/26
Name:Donald Hubbard
Phone Number:512-608-2115
Callsign:NO5Q
Category:ANTHF
Heading:OptiBeam OB12-6 (New & Not Assembled)
Ad Message:This is an OptiBeam OB12-6 HF Yagi Antenna (6 band 12 element 40m thru 10m). Purchased new in March 2020 from DXEngineering. Never got time or proper site so never assembled. Assembly photo shown is borrowed from another installation. Mine has always been stored in clean dry shop. I'm 78 and no longer able to raise such antennas. See OptiBeam or Wimo Antennas website for complete specs. This is a serious broadband gain antenna very sturdy German design and construction. Weighs 143 pounds, requires a hefty rotator and has a windload of 20.3 feet. Just so you know, the list price on this antenna from Wimo today without shipping duty or taxes is about $4,000. For a serious buyer I will send pics and more info. Boom length about 20-feet turning radius about 24-feet. This is a local pickup as shipping it would be problematic. If you have a trailer or pickup truck and are attending the Belton HamFest in April, you could pick it up then. I am 45-minutes south of Belton TX off I35.

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
