Ad Number:1764196
Date Placed:04/05/26
Name:David McCombs
Phone Number:713-409-9969
Callsign:NA5CW
Category:AMPHF
Heading:Ameritron AL-80 Amp - Works Great - 1KW
Ad Message:Selling my personal Ameritron AL-80 amp. This is the original AL-80, not the AL-80A or B. Small footprint desktop 1KW amp. Has had upgrades to bring it up to AL-80A specs. So this amp has full output from a single 3-500Z tube. On 120v output is about 750w PEP SSB. On 220v puts out full KW. So, this amp suffered shipping damage at some point during its life, but it's a nice clean fully functional amp. I used it daily with no issues at all until I got a solid state amp... Happy to talk about it if you want to contact me. Need $450 + shipping for it. Can take additional photo if wanted. It's just excess to my needs and lives unused now for the most part on the floor under my desk. Nice amp, you'll be happy with it I'm sure.
Dave, NA5CW. Good on qrz.com. Paypal, venmo, zelle, personal check, or cash is aok with me. 73

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
