Ad Message:	Back in Feb 1988, there was a QST construction article for the Neophyte Receiver written by WA3RNC. It was a simple 2 IC receiver using an NE602 AN mixer and LM 386 IC for audio amplification. You could build it for either 80 or 40 meter reception. A kit was offered with PCB and all required parts and connectors, you furnished the case and front panel. I ordered the kit, built it successfully and still have it. Now 37 years later I have come upon an unbuilt kit of all required parts to build this same receiver. All parts(except cabinet) are in a large plastic bag, including schematic, parts list and a copy of the original article from QST. I have inventoried the contents, confirmed all parts are present, including PCB, brand new vernier dial, if transformers, brand new 365 pf tuning cap, sealed packets containing IC’c, resistors, capacitors , antenna connector and audio pot. Even a speaker and battery holder. $35 plus shipping , PayPal preferred, 73 Bill W9VC

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
