| Heading: | FOR SALE: Hallicrafters SX-88 #506 |
| Ad Message: | This unit has been in a garage for an unknown period of time. It is physically intact although the front bezel has warped. That and the serial number indicate that it was built late in the first production run. I have read that there are only 100 of these radios still in existence. The main tuning dial glass is M.I.A. Main tuning works flawlessly; band spread tuning has some binding. The radio is located in Baltimore. It weighs 75 lb. The owner of the garage plugged it in and turned it on before I could stop him. No lights came on, and more importantly, no smoke came out. $1,000 Come and get the rarest of Hallicrafters receivers. |
