Perhaps it will bring a smile to your face, which I hope it will do. - I have been continuously licensed for over 67 years and have ALWAYS thought of myself as an AMATEUR RADIO ENTHUSIAST rather than a HAM RADIO OPERATOR. The word HAM is indicative of a piece of meat on the dinner table rather than having anything to do with our enthusiasm for radio. Additionally, it appears that "AMATEUR" radio is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. Give it some thought. Shouldn't we now think of our hobby as being "PROFESSIONAL" COMPUTER instead? It's all about what I think of as being the mystical world of bits and bytes. - Fire up whatever vacuum tube equipment you may have in your radio "cave" and give yourself a blast from the past. A lot of memories are priceless!

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
