Ad Message:	I got this as part of another unrelated purchase. Another is for sale for $249 by another eBayer. I will sell mine for much less because I cannot test. There is high probability it works but since I cannot guarantee it I am selling it for parts. Original box included. This sale is for the DSP-1 optional module designed specifically for the Yaesu VR-5000 DC to daylight receiver. The receiver is a marvel of design in that it can receive a wealth of frequencies in all the major listening modes. We have one installed in each of our two family vehicles as it is the best receiver to enable us to listen to shortwave broadcasts while driving since it can pick up what we need to hear using an amateur radio 2 meter antenna for a receiving antenna. Other shortwave receivers are more prone to ignition noise and do not perform well using such a short antenna. If you have the VR-5000, you may find this DSP-1 a challenge to locate for purchase. $125

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
