The radio does transmit and receive but didn't test the wattage. Max power is 25 watts. It does show signs of age, Yellowish buttons and the screen is loose the meter light doesn't work. The radio needs Tlc I am the second or who knows maybe the 5th owner. Will ship via ups and they will handle the packing. Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
