Ad Message:	This Yaesu FT-817 is in good condition cosmetically. There are a few scratches on the sides. The front panel is in excellent condition. There is a screw on the right side that has been broken off. This may have occurred during the installation of some brackets or legs. I would rate the overall cosmetic condition at a 7.5 to 8 on a 1 to 10 scale. It appears to receive fine on all bands. The only 5 watt element I have for my Bird meter is a 2 meter element. The radio shows 4.5 watts out on 2 meters. All other bands were showing about 3 watts on 100 watt elements so take that with a grain of salt. They may read closer to 5 watts using a 5 watt band specific element. The radio comes with a mic and a fused power cord. The manual is available free on line. I don’t have the original box but it will be securely boxed for shipment. It is being sold as is with no returns or refunds. I’ll accept PayPal, Zelle, Venmo or US postal money order. $375 shipped.

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
