Ad Number:1768163
Date Placed:05/16/26
Name:Bill murray
Phone Number:765-994-7523
Callsign:W9VC
Category:MISC
Heading:Parts kit Doug DeMaw 3 band VFO
Ad Message:This is a bag of parts to build A 3 band Analog VFO, which was featured in January 1980 QST by Doug DeMaw. I believe this was sold by Dan’s Small Parts, and sat unbuilt in a plastic bag till now. The uses 3 transistors, a variable capacitor for tuning, and is built Manhattan style on a “universal” ARRL PCB board as seen in picture. Comes with copy of QST article and numerous sealed bags with caps, restistors , semiconductors, hardware, inductors etc. you provide the enclosure and connectors/knobs. Note no vernier dial included. I have built this VFO circuit, and still have it, one of my many QRP projects. The original design was for 80/40/20 m but you could modify for 10 mhz. So if you like to build, but don’t like to source parts this might be for you. $20 plus shipping, PayPal preferred but flexable. 73 Bill W9VC

Your Response to this Ad:

Due to the amount of non-ham scammers trying to respond to the ads, I am now asking a simple question that ham operators should easily be able to answer, but scammers may not know the answer: What is the number that hams use to represent the phrase "Best Regards"? This number is typically transmitted by hams at the end of a QSO.
Best Regards:
