Following is a list of manufacturers who have been issued FCC grants of equipment authorization for high frequency (H.F.) R.F. power amplifiers, for use in the Amateur Radio Service. Most amateur H.F. equipment does not require an FCC-issued equipment authorization. However, R.F. power amplifiers which operate within the 1.8 to 21.45 MHz frequency range do require such an authorization.
R.F. power amplifiers which are designed and intended to operate on the 27 MHz Citizens Band Radio Service (CB) frequencies may not be imported, manufactured, marketed or used in the United States.
