 RADIOANQ - Ancient Tube 144mhz Radio
- On the off-chance someone wants this item, I am offering it for sale before it goes to the dump. It is a tube-based 144mhz FM radio that I converted from old taxi-cab radio transmitter and receiver strips when I was a teenager. Looking at the work I put into it 50+ years ago, I hate to part with it. But I'm never going to do anything with it. The cabinet itself is worth something. I built a power supply for it at the time, its probably in my garage somewhere, I will have to find it. I will give this away to an interested party with vacuum tube experience who can pick it up from my Southern California QTH.

- RADIOANQ - For Sale - Collins 75a2 Receiver
- I acquired this receiver about 20 years ago, it was working at the time, but I don't recall if it had been restored. It is serial number 1916. The wiring and components inside look to be in good shape. I turned it on today, got audio and heard some signals on 20 meters. Some switches and pots generate noise in the receiver, so it does need some work. It is in pretty good shape physically, other than yellowing on the dials. I spent $500 on it but I am open to offers. Hoping to find someone in Southern California to pick it up so I don't have to ship it. I can provide more pictures to those with serious interest.
