 RADIOVHF - Icom IC-290H 2 Meter Mobile Transceiver 
- TECH SPECIAL. From an estate. The Icom IC-290H is a well-built 2 meter multimode mobile transceiver operating in FM,CW,USB and LSB modes providing 25 watts on high power and 4 watts on low power. The Green LED display is readable over a wide range of light. The radio has 5 memories. It does not have a CTCSS tone board. The frequency range is 143.8-148.199 MHz with selectable simplex and +/– 600 kHz offset. The radio requires 13.8 VDC at 5 amps. It comes with power cord and the HM-8 DTMF hand microphone. It is off frequency on SSB by about 1.5Hz otherwise it puts out full power and all controls work as it should. Probably needs the reference frequency adjusted as well as the USB and LSB frequencies adjusted. It would be a cheap way to get on 2 Meter SSB. Could also be used for amateur satellites. $75 shipped. Blitz Bug" Lightning Protector For Sale:

I am fairly certain this is a Cushcraft LAC-1.
There are no markings on it to confirm the model
number, but it looks like the Cushcraft "Blitz Bug".

It is used in your coax transmission line to protect
against lightning and drain off static crashes.
Of course it will not protect against a direct hit,
but it will help in most cases.

This one has the silver plating tarnished, but it
still functions well.

It has an SO-239 on one end and a PL-259 on the
other end (female UHF on one end and male on the other).
