The R.L. Drake Company produced the R-4C as the final refinement of their previous popular R-4, R-4A and R-4B models. The R-4C covers: 3.5-4, 7-7.5, 14-14.5, 21-21.5 and 28.5-29 MHz plus fifteen additional 500 kHz crystal positions (with optional crystals). Modes of reception include: SSB, CW, AM and RTTY. The dial accuracy is and impressive ±1 kHz. Features include: PBT, Line out, Crystal Calibrator (25 kHz), RF Gain, Mute Jack, Speaker Jack, Anti-Vox Jack, ¼ inch headphone jack, Dial Lamp and Spinner Knob. This radio requires an external speaker.

The BBMC never made keyers, only keys. The keys were all hand-made by one person, Bill Brown. Bill made the die-cast machine and all the key parts and dies himself. He also designed, painted and labeled each key ever made by the BBMC. Bill worked alone making the keys in his basement shop. He was a real craftsman and a true perfectionist.

Elements still together. Boom still together. I had this on one of my former HDX 589 Tower. I even used it as a 3 element 20 meter yagi only at one time. ( can be seen on my old tower on my QRZ page at top of tower above the 40 meter yagi. ) Works great. Should fit most responsible towers. Can be disassembled more for hauling on 20 meter elements.
My price is around 1/3 of new cost with tax and shipping. Look this antenna up and study the gain and FB. If you understand antennas I think this is a great NON TRAP antenna for working on FT 8 with over 600 watts as many yagis are limited too.

- Very good condition (cosmetically and electrically) Drake SSR-1 receiver (500 kHz to 30 MHz, AM, SSB, and CW modes). Works as it should with excellent sensitivity and stability to 30 MHz. The whip antenna is included and an RF gain controls has been added in the upper lefthand corner. Also the incandescent dial lamps have been replaced with equivalent LED bulbs for low power consumption. Has AC power cord but will work on external 12 Vdc power source.
