An excellent performing receiver, the CR-1 is a SDR (software defined radio), but does not require a computer. The CR-1 uses embedded digital signal processing technology that provides a high degree of portability and performance. Coverage includes: 500 kHz-30 MHz, 64-260 MHz and 437-468 MHz in AM, SSB, CW, WBFM, NBFM modes. 64 memories (8x8) are available. Memory and spectrum scanning are available on HF. The radio may be powered via USB or provided power supply. In both cases the optional Li-ion battery will be recharging, even when the radio is in use. Battery is good and holds a charge well.
