- RADIOHF - FOR SALE: Kenwood TS-850S
- This TS-850SAT needs work, but otherwise is in good condition. Problems: very low sensitivity on receive and maximum 80 Watts key down on all bands, so yes, it needs a buyer who would enjoy repairing it. Serial number 21200238. It has the newer 66312 DDS chips on the CAR board. I have not checked all functions so there may be other issues. The radio transmits and receives on all bands (although the receive sensitivity is poor) and the antenna tuner works. I received an S9+ with good audio report during a brief 20m QSO between Wisconsin and West Virginia when testing the radio on 12 May 2025. It comes with power cord, original hand microphone, digital recorder DRU-2 and optional filters YK-88C-1 and YK-88SN-1. No Manual. PayPal $350 plus shipping (the optional filters alone are worth that!). Sold as-is, no trades, no returns. More information & photos on request!
