 AMPHF - FS Collins 204F-1 3.5 KW Amplifier 
- I am selling my Collins 204F-1 amplifier. This amplifier uses a pair of 4CX-1000 tubes. It will tune 2 to 30 MHz continuous. Collins reports the duty cycle as 24/7, at 2.5 KW. This amplifier is in very good condition. It was built for the military with heavy duty components, and vacuum relays.
Much better built than anything sold in today’s market. No displays, IC’s or proprietary software that becomes unobtainable. There is a lot of information on the internet on this amplifier. Pick up in Northwest Oklahoma. It is big and heavy. It is not weak and unfit!

Amperex 4-250 Transmitting Tube For Sale:

The Amperex 4-250 / 5022 is a high power
transmitting tube, very closely related to
the well known 4-400, and a cousin to the
3-500. It fits the same socket as the 4-400
and 3-500.

The major difference between the 4-250 and
4-400 is that the 4-250 has 250 watts of plate
dissipation, while the 4-400 has 400 watts.
They usually can be used interchangeably as
long as the plate dissipation is not exceeded.

Weak 4-250
This 4-250 has low output.
It is not dead or shorted, but simply has low output.
It would be ideal for testing an amplifier. It is
NOT dead.
