It is a small, hand held receiver.

powered by two AA batteries, although it
can be used with a wall wart. An earphone
jack is provided.

- AMPHF - Alpha 76A amp modifed by N4UZ Dick Byrd
- Alpha 76A amplifier modified with 8000 tubes, opened warc bands tuned up and low power input. This amp will do over 2000 watts but the power supply is the original and recommend only the legal limit of 150 watts. I have used this amp to work all countries except North Korea, 1 short of top honor roll. Cosmetically I would say 8 of 10. It has worked flawlessly since having it modified. I have been in the hospital and owe a big bill so I have priced this low to get my hospital paid, so $1500.00 and my bill is greater but I'm listing a K-3 and P3 also.
