The TenTec 243 Remote VFO is an accessory to
the OMNI transceiving system which allows two
frequencies of operation. A mode switch with
LED indicators provides selection of any one
of six modes of operation: OMNI transmit and
receive; REMOTE transmit and receive; OMNI
transmit-REMOTE receive; REMOTE transmit-OMNI
receive; OMNI transmit-both receive; and REMOTE
transmit-both receive.

Full, instant break-in is retained no matter
what mode is selected.

In addition to the remote capability, a four
position crystal oscillator may be selected
as the remote generator for fixed frequency
operation, such as for MARS or net operation.

Coaxial Cable "Jumpers" For Sale:

Most of us need a variety of coax "Jumpers"
around the shack to connect our rig to antenna
tuners, amplifiers, coax antenna switches, etc.
These jumpers are useful for that purpose.

NEW Cable Experts CXP008C3, 3 foot, RG-8.
Silver, teflon, PL-259 connectors on both ends.
They sell it for $19; get this one for $12.

I have an extensive number of jumpers in the range
of 1 to 2 foot length. These are all 50 ohm coax,
and may be the large (approximate 0.40 inch)
RG-8 or equivalent, or RG-58 (under 1/4 inch). All
have a PL-259 connector on both ends.

They have all been tested.
Please let me know approximate length you
would like, and whether RG-8, or RG-58.

These jumpers are available for $8 each for
1 to 2 foot, and $10 for 3 feet, plus shipping.

- MISC - FOR SALE: Ameritron RCS-8 Antenna Switch
- I have for sale an Ameritron RCS-8 Remote Antenna Switch. This includes both the Remote Relay Box and the indoor Control Box. This unit is absolutely new-in-box (NIB) and is new-old-stock (NOS). I have had the unit for many years, stored in the closet of my climate-controlled shack in the original box and never used! This unit will switch up to 5 antennas and requires a control cable between the relay box and control unit. According to product description, this unit is usable from DC to 250MHz, with power handling up to 5KW to 30MHz and up to 1KW to 150MHz. This unit is an original RCS-8 which has a built-in 115VAC/12VDC (approx.) control voltage power supply in the Control Box (unlike the newer RCS-8V, which requires a separate wall wart for the control voltage).
