I USE JOHNSON MATCHBOXES & LADDER LINE EXCLUSIVELY HERE.
This KW Matchbox is upgraded, and modified to cover all
HF bands 160-10M. AND, RATED at 5KW PEP!!
Very simple operation. ONLY ONE TUNE KNOB, tune to max!
-Select Band: 160, 80, 40, 20 or 15-10 M.
-Connect Xmtr or Amp to input: w/50 ohm coax(PL-259 to SO-239).
-Output Terminals FOR LADDER LINE, UP TO ANT FEED POINT.
-Use an AM/CW carrier for tune up.
-Adjust TUNE KNOB for maximum output using inline WATTMETER
or SWR/Field Strength Meter at ladder line.
-Tune for MAX RF deflection: the PERFECT operational SWR setting.
ALL components in this Johnson Kilowatt Matchbox are RATED at 5K PEP.
