- RADIOHF - FOR SALE: Astatic D-104 Microphone
- I've owned this old D-104 desk microphone for years but now it's time to let it go to a new home. It's in pretty good condition but it does show it's age.. The chrome plating is in excellent condition - no chips or peeling and the hammer tone base has some chips in the paint, but nothing major or serious. The Astatic label on the base is in excellent condition, the printing is perfectly legible. The cord has stiffened a bit with age but otherwise is in very good condition. - Astatic Golden Eagle. In 1976, Astatic produced a gold plated D-104 microphone to commemorate the USA Bicentennial.. Not to be confused with the 1993 Diamond Eagle. This Golden Eagle microphone is in good condition physically and operationally it's excellent. The plating is coming of on the TX locking slide. The microphone is not discolored, the dark areas in the photo are reflections of nearby objects. The plug on the cord is not included in the sale. Similar Golden Eagles sell for over $200.. - BIRD 43-P WATTMETER, including 16 slugs and the "dummy slug". The slugs cover 440 MHZ down to HF frequencies. Also included are 2 carrying cases - one for the wattmeter and a few slugs and another case with space for 12 slugs. Everything is in good to excellent condition. Batteries included with the wattmeter. The combined value on the used market of the slugs alone is approximately $1,000. For all the items shown in the picture including the 2 SWR plotting charts, I'm asking $980.00, including shipping costs to CONUS. - AMPVHF - FOR SALE: W6PO 2 meter amplifier
- This is a well built amplifier employing "plumber's delight" tubing for the resonator tubes. A turns counter operates the Plate cap. The load cap is adjusted from the rear panel. Adjustable input matching provides for fine tuning of the input SWR. An Omron Technologies Time Delay Relay provides proper warmup for the 8877 (3CX1500A7) tube. The RF deck is mounted in a rack mount case that sits atop a custom built roll around cabinet. The high voltage transformer and filter caps are mounted in a separate housing sitting inside the cabinet. High voltage is manually controlled by a Variac. The amplifier is wired for 240 AC voltage. Driving the amp with 35 watts easily produces a 1KW signal. 45 - 50 watts brings it to full legal limit. My asking price for this amplifier is $1300.00, and for this price I will include a Cushcraft 17B-2 antenna. This amplifier cannot be shipped, pickup only in Elkhart, TX.
