The radio will run on 12 volts dc (mobile use) or, when plugged into the console, it will run on 120 volts ac. The console has a built in power supply and speaker.
The cosmetics are pretty good and operates fine on all bands except needs help 20 meters. I've been using this radio on 40 meters for several weeks and puts out full power.
