After I replaced a 12AU7 I think I put the case on backwards, afterwards the dots became dashes and the dashes became dots. When I sent a D it came out as a U, E came out as T. My name came out as TRUB.
It is missing two feet.

- RADIOHF - Drake 1-A sideband receiver
- This is my Drake 1-A Sideband receiver serial #84. It works perfectly!! I bought it from the original owners son who had it in storage for many years. Per the paper work, it appears he bought it new in late 1957 or early 58. The radio cosmetically is 9/10. I put it on my 5 band yagi and it blows up with signal. Even some of the DX stations I could lightly hear on my Flex, could also hear on the Drake. The manual is original and very clean. Also have some correspondence between original owner and Drake dated 1958. Folding schematic also in there. I have many other photos but can only post one with eHam. Can send others on request. $700 plus buyers pay to ship.
I hate to ship it but will.. :(
