TenTec Omni 545 with Digital Readout For Sale:

The 160 thru 10 meter HF transceiver is technically
an Omni 545 analog. However, a frequency counter
has been added, so that it now has a digital readout.
So it is basically similar to an Omni 546.

It produces about 100 Watts and has a very good
receiver. An audio CW filter is built in, which
is extremely effective.

This is a "Series B" Omni.

Cosmetically it is very good, but not mint.
Everything works as it should.

The Icom IC-PS20 is an external power supply
that also includes a nice speaker. The PS-20
delivers up to 20 amps at 50% duty cycle (10
mins on and 10 mins off). This power supply
will switch on automatically when the rigs
power switch is pressed.

Cosmetically, this supply matches many Icom
rigs. It has a special 2 pin plug on it that
matches some rigs, but also has an adapter
to the more standard 6 pin molex plug.

This one works 100% as it should, and looks
very close to new. No defects.

Most of us need a variety of coax "Jumpers"
around the shack to connect our rig to antenna
tuners, amplifiers, coax antenna switches, etc.
These jumpers are useful for that purpose.

NEW Cable Experts CXP008C3, 3 foot, RG-8.
Silver, teflon, PL-259 connectors on both ends.
They sell it for $19; get this one for $12.

I have an extensive number of jumpers in the range
of 1 to 2 foot length. These are all 50 ohm coax,
and may be the large (approximate 0.40 inch)
RG-8 or equivalent, or RG-58 (under 1/4 inch). All
have a PL-259 connector on both ends.

They have all been tested.
Please let me know approximate length you
would like, and whether RG-8, or RG-58.

These jumpers are available for $8 each for
1 to 2 foot, and $10 for 3 feet, plus shipping.

- MFJ-986 Differential-T Tuner, re-print of Owner’s manual. $250 OBO
MFJ-986 3K Tuner - Uses a differential capacitor that makes tuning easier. Air Core Roller Inductor gives absolute minimum SWR . Tunes 1.8 - 30 MHz continuously. Cross-Needle meter shows SWR and Power.
This is an older production unit, not the newer, poorly built ones.
I took a lot of photos of the interior, you can see how pristine it looks. Has very little use, a transceiver with built-in tuner replaced it soon after purchase. Never used with a linear amp, 100 watts is all it ever saw, into an R7 vertical.
Will be quickly and carefully packed for shipment. No returns, due to part swappers, etc. or pick up in Newington, CT, where you can test it.
(I could not post any photos, request them via email before purchase, you’ll see how pristine the interior is.)
