I got this rig in a trade where I acquired both a 6700 and this 6500. The previous owner said he had sent both rigs to the factory to be refurbished; it's what Flex calls a "spa day." I uncrated the 6700 and am now using it. The Flex 6500 has not been unboxed. This rig is quaranteed to be in 100 percent FB operating condition, with only minor scratches. - TEST - For Sale: Triplett 310-FET Type II VOM
- ***SALE PENDING***I have here a Triplett 310-FET Type II VOM purchased in 1980. It was never put into service and has sat on a shelf for over 40 years in the original box. I have installed new batteries (the originals were never installed) and a new Triplett lead set. It tests perfectly on all ranges, and the meter movement is nice and tight. The control actions and switches are smooth and exhibit no erratic actions. The meter was stored in a climate-controlled non-smoking environment, away from dust and vibration. In short, except for some slight discoloration and wear on the box, it is in as-new condition. Not a scratch on it. The Type II has a dual FET front end in a bridge arrangement for excellent stability and accuracy. Included is all the above, plus the warranty card, other inserts, and the original manual.
