- AMPHF - Alpha 99 contest special
- Excellent condition Alpha 99cs, own a great peace of history.
This amp was used during the Peter Island DXpedition.
After the DXpedition these amps were returned and completely refurbished and then auctioned off.
Amp has set up for remote operation as well.
No smoking and no contesting since I have owned the amp.
Looks new both inside and out. Filter kit installed recently and new old stock tubes.
Full out put with 27 watts of drive, has been used conservatively.
This not not my daily driver as I use a home brew for everyday contacts.

Mobile Antenna provides 5.2 dB gain with an
optimum low-angle radiation pattern. It can
handle up to 200 watts, and is adjustable
for the best SWR.

The height of this antenna is 7.10 ft., and
it weighs 1.84 lbs. It has a 3/8 in.-24 stud,
so it fits a standard ball mount.

It features a fiberglass center load. The SWR
is 1:15:1 at resonance and the bandwidth
is 6 MHz.

If you want the biggest mobile signal on the
band, this will help you get it.

This one is in good shape for $30. It is pick up only
near Ocala, FL. Since the carriers have added a large
surcharge for long skinny packages, the cost to ship is
considerably higher than the cost of the antenna.
