 RADIOANQ - Very rare wing emblem Collins emblem
- This is a Collins metal winged emblem measuring 7 inches long by 2 inches high (at the circle) and about 1 inch high (at the ends of the wings). This is in excellent condition with no marks what-so-ever. It is a perfect ten, with original paint, no rust, or blemishes, scuffs, abrasions, or any imperfections. It is in absolute mint condition with
nice chrome raised lettering and insignia with the original Collins red paint in the background. A real treasure for the serious Collins Collector!

From a non smoking shack, radio is in great physical and electrical shape, display has no flaws, the radio works smoothly and perfectly. I am downsizing the shack some and this radio is a lot bigger than I need on the desk. A GREAT CW radio on the low bands with its noise reduction and even better when using the alternate RX ant port and a good low noise RX antenna. As always, super Ten Tec QSK and the built in keyer works great.

- Due to old 1956 design of 516F-2, or PM-2 power supply for Collins KWM-2 (A) or 32S series transmitters runs on 125V AC power Voltage, the 516F-2 supply should deliver 275V Low Volt becomes 330V Plus minus during receive mode of KWM-2(A), vacuum tubes get 330V which will shorten life of tubes and cause extreme hot temperatures affect other parts. KWM-2(A)and 32S series transmitter get lot of heat problems. I have a solution to keep the LV to exactly 275V either transmit or receive mode.Using 500V MOSFET and series of Zener regulators,LV is now tightly regulated which helps keep the VFO with no drift and no audio hum as it works as ripple filter.The board is 22mm x 30 mm by size, made with SMD components and can be fit to the sidewall of power supply.
