This is the improved version of the Eimac 4CX1000A metal/ceramic tetrode transmitting tube (long out of production) ,with lower grid current draw and higher gain. As used in several legal limit linear amps including the Alpha 8410, Acom 1500/2100, Collins 30S-1, etc. Purchased as a spare, never used, just removed from factory sealed carton to take photo, then re-sealed.
